Spin Doctor privacy policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026. This policy covers the Android app Spin Doctor (nl.lloydstellar.spindoctor) by Lloyd Stellar.

No data leaves your phone

Spin Doctor does not collect, store or share any personal data. The app has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Your files

The artwork and audio you pick are read on your phone to make the video. They are not copied anywhere else. Finished videos are saved to your own gallery, in Movies/Spin Doctor, and only leave your phone when you share them yourself.

What the app keeps

The app remembers your last style settings, such as the colours, the text style and your artist name, so the next video starts the same way. These settings stay on your phone and are removed when you uninstall the app. Android's own backup may include them in your Google account backup, if you have that turned on.

Permissions

Notifications: to show the progress while a release is being made in the background. Foreground service: to keep making videos when you switch to another app.
