Robot Vocal: privacy policy
Robot Vocal is an Android app by Lloyd Stellar. This page says what it does with your data. Last change: 18 October 2026.
On your phone
Your lyrics, songs and settings stay on your phone. The app has no account, no ads and no analytics, and it does not collect anything about how you use it. WAV files you save go to the Music folder of your phone.
When you send to Ableton Live
The app goes online for one thing only: when you tap SEND TO LIVE. Then LA2L (Lloyd's App2Live) uploads the rendered vocal, the title of the song and the name "Robot Vocal" over HTTPS to its server on lloydstellar.nl, so the LA2L device in Ableton Live on your own computer can import it.
- The audio is removed from the server after the import in Live, and at the latest after 24 hours.
- The title, the sound names and the result of the import are kept for 7 days.
- To pair, you type a code that LA2L shows in Live. The app then keeps a token and an installation id in its private storage and sends them with every call. Tap UNPAIR in the app, or unpair in LA2L, to revoke the token.
- Like every web server, the server logs calls with their IP address.
Nothing is shared with anyone else. More details: LA2L privacy.
